Austin and I met the Summer of 2009 at a party. Shortly after we went out on our first date, we both said we were going to take it slow and not so serious but we both came to the realization that we did not want to be apart. We spent many nights just walking downtown and talking, not a care in the world. In December, we bought a house together and we loved living together. I always made him play scrabble with me until he learned that I make up my own words and so then he stopped playing with me. On December 14th, Austin said he was going to make me breakfast and that I could relax and read which I wont turn down food and a good book. When he said "babe it is ready" I heard his voice sound a little trembly and thought something was wrong with him. I walked to the table to find the words "Will you marry me Sweetpea" in my favorite game! I wish I could say my first words were yes but they were more along the lines of "Are you lying?" When I turned to him he was down on one knee asking me again and I said YES!!! We later had our son Parker in June 15, 2011 and now Parker gets to witness his parents make a bond with God in front of family and Friends |
