Welcome

When people ask us where and how we met, we really don't know how to answer that! Chance and I have always known each other from both growing up in Eustace. We both have several early memories of times we spent getting to know one another and we would like to share them with you.

One of Chance's best friends growing up was Cody Cornelius. Cody lived "as a crow flies" just next door to me. Our home and land was beside Cody's family's pasture and in between them was what we called the "gully." It was a rather large creek that we would all swim in during the hot summers. Several times our paths would cross during those childhood years. This is our earliest memories of meeting each other.

Around the age of 12, I had a friend named Jennifer. She lived next door to Chance's best friend Jason. There were many nights that I stayed the night with Jennifer and Chance with Jason. We spent a lot of time out on the trampoline getting to know one another and it was from this moment on that I had a crush that I knew wouldn't end. I began to practice writing "Brandi Sutton" as every little girl did about their crush during that time in their life. I even wrote it in my Mom's Bible.

My Mom still has that same Bible she carries to this day where I wrote "Brandi Loves Chance Sutton."

We have a lot of other memories together during my early teenage years, after high school and during college but we won't put those all out there. :)

We had lost touch and had not seen each other in quite some time. Then one day Chance did some work for my parents and Mom decided to make him a pie. Chance ran into some mutual friends shortly afterwards and asked them what I was up to these days. He asked for my new number and called me up and wanted to tell me how good the pie was that my Mom made him and how sweet that was. We chit-chatted and caught up over the phone and he invited me to come over and sit by a fire with some of his buddies at his house. Chance lived on the same road I did just a few miles down. I didn't have anything to do that night and figured why not so off I went. One night turned into two and soon I was getting a phone call on a nightly basis to either go out to dinner or just hang out at home.

That's all it took and we have been together to this day. We have so much in common and when we announced to our friends that we were officially dating they all knew it was a match meant to be. It was the perfect timing in our lives for our story to finally become our happily ever after. After over three years of dating we can't wait to share our special day with our friends and family.

When we got engaged we were trying to figure out what kind of wedding we wanted to have. We knew if we were going to have a wedding it would be a big one considering we both have grown up in the Eustace area our entire lives and both have a rather large family. We also knew that we wanted a rustic, country, outdoor wedding possibly in my parent’s back yard. My best friend Brandi and I immediately began "pinning" things on Pinterest planning it out and getting ideas. It started to become a little overwhelming with all of the details. I had already mentioned to Chance that I would love to get married on the beach somewhere and wouldn't care if it was just the two of us there. He also liked the idea as well but we struggled with the fact that the ones we love most in our life wouldn't be able to share that special moment with us. Finally one day Chance looked at me and said, "Let's just go to the beach. Book it." So, the first thing I did was call my well traveled Cousin Crystal and get her recommendation. Chance and I have always wanted to go visit the Dominican Republic so we thought about getting married there but we figured if anyone might want to go to the wedding with us, Mexico would be much more possible for guests. Crystal immediately recommended "The Royal" which she has visited and also went to a wedding at. The next day, we booked it and can't be more excited to be getting married on the beach!

The ceremony is going to be very casual and simple. We want everyone to be comfortable and relaxed so they can also enjoy their time at The Royal. We chose to have our wedding on the beach instead of using the gazebo so shoes will be optional. We encourage everyone to go barefoot like we will be.

Our wedding party consists of Chloe, Crystal Sheffield, Nathan and Brandi Foote, and Jason Key. We are so thankful for these people in our lives and are thrilled that they want to be a part of our special day.

Our wedding colors are coral, peach, and ivory. I couldn't decide on just one so why not have them all!?

It's just a matter of time before I talk a walk down the sandy aisle in my wedding dress to meet my handsome groom which is the missing piece to my puzzle that I have always been looking for.

Our reception will be fun and fabulous! We will have a private reception on the beach at sunset and into the evening lit with tiki torches and candles. Dinner will be served along with drinks of your choice.

Dinner Menu: Tropical Salad, Beef Fillet Tournedo au Mustard varnished with pink pepper sauce, served with Leon style potato and asparagus au gratin, and for dessert Mango Parfait au Tequila.

Also, don't forget the wedding cake!

The wedding reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

Chance and I would like to thank all of our dearest family and friends for simply being there for us. You all have made such a remarkable positive difference in our lives and we can never repay you for that. It means so much to us that you are willing to travel with us to witness the beginning of our happily ever after. We cherish the friendship and love you gave us, and continue to give us. Thank you for visiting our wedding website and honeymoon registry. We can't wait to share this special day with you!
